We are the proud family of a "ISSR" Shiloh Shepherd puppy from New Zion Shilohs. Founder of the breed Tina Barber, from Filmore, NY has out done herself with these magnificent dogs. When it comes to Shilohs, no one knows more. Diamond is a light sable, plush coat, from the Lee/Acer litter born Feb 02,2008. She is very lovable, and very mello. She loves our children, and we love her very much. We look forward to many, many years with her. For more information on the true Shiloh shepherd take a look at our ISSR webring listed below.
Today we picked out our puppy. It was truely PUPPY LOVE @ first sight!
Diamond Comes Home!
Diamond came home @ 9 weeks. She takes a look around her new yard.
Diamond @ 10 weeks
Diamond's Ready to Ride
We are trying to get her to like riding in the car, so we can feel comfortable about going places with her. I've been taking her with me on my kid drop offs. The kids are on spring break this week, so I'm taxi mom. It's a good opportunity to do short rides. She did really well on the ride home from our breeder's house (Tina Barber, in Filmore, NY). She rode in a wire crate. She only cried for about 1/2 hr. and never got sick. Although I know a crate is the best way to travel, I don't have a travel crate at the moment and the wire one is too much of a bother for short trips. She was really comfortable in Sara's car seat. Now what do I do with Sara...humm.....
Bunk Beds
Hopefully someday our cat Tabby and Diamond will cuddle up together, but for now Tabby seems to prefer the upper bunk!!
This is Only the Beginning!!!!
Above : are some of my favorite "First Photo's" of our sweet little puppy! But keep scrolling down and you'll see just how much she grows and how much fun we have with her.
Below : are my "Posts" from newestto oldest. If I new what I was doing in the beginning, I would have done all posts so everything would be in Chronological order, but, I didn't, so you'll just have to go with it.
Diamond was in heat for her birthday this year, but i took a few photos anyway. My daughter Sara decorated her dish. We went with the Valentines Day theme since it's so close.
We spent all day doing the Niagara Falls, NY state parks. We had a great time playing, having a picinic, checking out the 3 different waterfalls, being sprayed by the mist and meeting LOTS of people. It was a lot of walking in the warm weather, but it was a fun day!! Check out the whole album @ picasa.
This is Waba (the Sire) This is Diamond and her new pup.
Diamond gave birth to a 1 lb. 1 oz. healthy baby boy on March 24, 2010. He is the son of Warba (a Shiloh shepherd owned by breed founder Tina Barber). Warba is known for his impressive size and gentle temperment. This "Little Bear" should turn out to be a "Great Big Bear".
This was the ISSR Shiloh Shepherd 35th Annual Homecoming. It was an exciting time with Seminars, Classes, Temperment Tests and 3 days of Speciality Shows. My four year old daughter Sara took Diamond in the ring for Pee Wee Handling on Saturday. She did so good. She won her first trophy for "Best Pee Wee Handler". My 9 year old daughter took Diamond in the ring on Friday for adult Novice and Saturday for Jr. Handling . Sabrina took 2nd for Jr. Handling and Adult Novice(Plush Female). Saturday Diamond took 3rd place in Adult Novice (Plush female ). On Sunday she took 1st for Adult Novice (Plush female). She also scored a 98% on her Temperment Test. We had a lot of fun! Our Shiloh Family is a great group of people and we are proud to be a part of it. Watch a quick video of Sara & Diamond in the ring.
